IP Addresses: We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems, to administer our website, and to gather demographic information. When you visit our site, we recognize only your domain name and not your e-mail address. We will see your e-mail address only if you give it to us by filling out a form, using one of our web-services, or by sending us an e-mail message.
User Registration: If you choose to register via email, e.g., by using one of our web-service for Evolutionary Biology, you will receive an email indicating that you data analysis job has finished and you might be informed about sofgtware updates. Note however, that user support for most of our tools is offerd via various google groups. You have full control over registering and de-registering from these google groups.

You can choose not to receive any more e-mail at any time. Depending on how your e-mail application is set up, information about you may be transmitted automatically when you send an e-mail to HITS.
Scientific Data: If you use one of our scientific web-services the input and result data you uploaed and generated will be stored for the sole purpuse of conducting the analysis you specified and returning the results to you. This data is neither processed, nor used in any other context.
